Seeking Creatives

Somehow I have wrangled a marketing budget from Regional Arts NSW for the next (thrilling!) installment of the Day of the Species project, scheduled for Spring 2022 in rural northern NSW.

The money will be used for an experiential marketing campaign that promotes and financially supports regional artists, raises awareness of local threatened species, highlights regional cafes AND informs the public of the next Day of the Species exhibition, to be held in collaboration with Harrigans Lane Collective on a 200 hectare private property set in magical bush land just north of Tenterfield, NSW.

If you live in the regional areas of New England, the Granite Belt or the North Coast of NSW, two paid contract positions are up for grabs:

Social Media Content Creator – research/ create regular posts to promote the campaign across the three regions.

Photographer/ videographer – document the campaign as it is run in the New England or Granite Belt areas.

A week before the Day of the Species event, twelve regional artists and their large-scale artworks of local threatened species will sit in one of four regional boutique cafes with artwork by their side.

As content creator you will need to research some of these artists and their threatened species and create stories that invite cafe visitors to engage with the sit-in artists.

As photographer/ videographer you will need to capture a few different artists at these sit-ins to be used in promotional material for the Day of the Species event.
